"And everyone that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first."
What did Jesus mean by this apparent hard saying? The cost of comittment to the Gospel would be high...but the reward would be worth it. Whatever would hinder us from 100 percent commitment to following Christ, as HIS 'disciplined learner'...we need to be rid of !!! How often we can mistakenly allow the pull of natural relationships, which the enemy can use to draw us away from The will of God , to block our destiny in HIM !
Where there is a level of maturity in Spiritual terms, encouragement will ensue from those close to us. However, we are all selfish in the 'flesh' and even Jesus was at times tested in this way, by HIS own natural family !!!
Let's make a quality decision to go on with GOD, whatever the cost. HE will take care of the rest !
