"Behold I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.(v.52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound,and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
These verses concern the forthcoming Rapture of the Church...an event yet future, but as certain to take place as was the Death, Burial, Resurrection and Ascension of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. A careful, unpredjudiced, non-bigoted, study of the Scriptures will lead us to the conclusion that part of the future of the Church is to partake of The Rapture; as descibed herein, as well as in many other places in The Bible. If we take The Word of God seriously, we will live our lives in preparedness for this event. This is because no-one knows when Jesus will return...The Bridegroom for The Bride...The Head of The Church for The Body...The Good Shepherd for The Sheep...The Builder for The Building...The Foundation for The Structure...
When Noah built the Ark he was undoubtedly ridiculed by the ungodly for his earnest preparations. Nevertheless, The Lord always vindicates His servants. (Isaiah 54:17-19).Because Noah had God's perspective on the situation, he carried on with his commission regardless of their jibes and opposition. Noah knew the final outcome and he was determined to be on the victorious side !!!
Let us take note of Noah's attitude, because Jesus said...'as it was in the days of Noah, so shall also the coming of The Son of Man be'...(Matt.24:37-39).
