What 'foundations' are our lives built upon? The Bible clearly tells us that..."no one can lay any other foundation than what has been laid, that is Jesus Christ."(1Cor.3:11:C.S.B.).You see,all other 'isms', theories, hypotheses, ideologies, faiths, religions, propositions, contentions, arguments and viewpoints, will ultimately fail the acid test of time and trial in the crucible of life's storms! The jailor 'had it all together', or so he thought!...until the test 'kicked in' ! when 'things' go to pieces, many people do as well!it is easy to fear the worst, but God has the best available, for those who will take Him at His Word in faith and trust.Salvation may not always take you out of your circumstances, but it will always take you through them! The results of the jailors conversion were obvious...he showed compassion on those who were suffering and attended to their needs. This was the fruit of repentance. There was no long and protracted course of 'lessons' in preparation for baptism either!"What God Has joined together, let not man put asunder!".May The Lord Bless you.
