Believing is one thing...acting on one's belief is moving into the realm of FAITH ! and this is what God requires ! Let us consider this passage of scripture on the subject of PRAYER............
In the Greek language of The New Testament, [Koine]... the verbs to ask, seek and knock, are in the CONTINUOUS TENSE.....
This means we are to continue in prayer until we see GOD MOVE !!! [Take Hannah as ONE EXAMPLE !]
TOO MANYOF US GIVE UP TOO EARLY .....Our Chief example of dilligence in prayer is Our Lord Jesus Christ ...Who "ever lives to make Intercession for us" [Hebrews 7:25]
Our prayer life should be...[1] PERSISTENT [2] RESISTANT [3] CONSISTENT [4] INSISTANT
THEN WE WILL BEGIN TO SEE R-E-S-U-L-T-S......
Yet, as we are well aware, from the proliferation of innumerable cults, sects, and other erroneus deviations from the Truth of The Gospel of Christ, .....IT IS NOT GOOD TO HAVE ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE !!!
WE MUST HOLD IN BALANCE THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA.....
[1] THE TIMING OF ANSWERED PRAYER IS IN THE LORD'S HANDS
[2] THE WAY PRAYER IS ANSWERED IS IN THE LORD'S HANDS.
REMEMBER ...THE WAY UP IS DOWN !!!....ROOT OUT ALL PRIDE AND EMBRACE HUMILITY !!!...
