"Therefore, my beloved Brethren, be steadfast, Immovable, always abounding In the work of The Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in The Lord"'.[nkjv]
What is it that makes certain people press on, in the face of great adversity and opposition ? Why do they persist, when others 'throw in the towel' ? [fig.] We can see clearly from the text, that Paul has decribed an overall picture of the eternal ,glorious, future of those who are Christ's at His Coming.
[1] You must have a Vision...beyond the Immediate circumstances discerned by the senses.
[2] Tou must commit yourself, wholeheartedly, to that Vision...
[3] You must be assured that you will see the changes come about, that you desire and the Vision fulfilled.
We know that God Is 'No man's debtor' and at Judgement Day all will be made abundantly clear. Whatever we sow now, will reap a harvest later. Good seed in good soil will produce a harvest.. Nevertheless, we must rest in the fact that this will take place In The Lord's Way and Time. The old Hymn ' Onward Christian Soldiers' exhorts us to ...'Lift high His Royal banner', As we see that Day approaching...let us 'keep on 'keeping on', and the reward will surely come.
May The Lord Bless you.
