"This Is the day that The Lord Has made...we will be glad and rejoice in it". [Psalm 118:4]
Christ rose from the dead on the specific appointed day in the Divine Order of events. As the Psalmist prophesies here, we know that the Firstfruits of the harvest [Leviticus 23: 1ff] had to be presented to The Lord the day after the Sabbath....Christ rose after 6pm on the Saturday evening and before dawn on the Sunday morning as a perfect fulfilment of this O/T type. In Hebrew understanding a day began with evening then morning...[see Genesis account of the Creation]. We give thanks and praise eternally to God because of this Momentous of all events. Now we who believe have absolute assurance that we will also be resurrected...[or raptured !] as the remainder of the ' Harvest '.........HALLELUJAH CHRIST IS RISEN...DEATH HAS LOST IT'S STING ...
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU.
