In every single book of the Bible, we can find reference to The Lord Jesus Christ . He is The Golden Thread, which permeates the whole of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. Our duty as Christians is to 'study to show ourselves approved unto God'... (2 Tim.2:15). By so doing, we will bring Glory to God and come to a higher level of faith and maturity. [1] Time...quality time, uninterupted by daily pressures, so as to utilise full concentration.
[2] Sacrifice...giving up 'legitimate' pursuits, so as to follow in The Master's footsteps.
[3] Effort...Bringing all our heart, mind and strength to bear on the task in hand; to know Him more.
[4] Finance... making neccessary purchases, in order to acheive the objective in hand.
Christ Has given all for us...what can we give to Him ??? The Christmas Carol says..'.If I were a Shepherd, I would bring a Lamb'...The Lamb of God Has come, and our lives can never be the same again !
